S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) promotes on Tuesday (28), in S\u00e3o Paulo, a seminar on internationalisation of small businesses. \u201cThe idea is to work to change the \u2018mental model\u2019 of small companies so that they may already be born thinking global, turned abroad,\u201d said Sebrae-SP consultant Gilberto Campi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, according to him, entrepreneurs are going to learn not just about the possibilities in the areas of imports and exports, but also ways for internationalisation, like the establishment of international partnerships and the promotion of contracts for transfer of technology.<\/p>\n
The program will be divided into three parts. In the first, the S\u00e3o Paulo Trade Association (ACSP) should show how trading companies may simplify exports of micro and small companies. The organisation has a Foreign Trade Company Council and a small Trading Company Project. \u201cSmall companies produce and trading companies prospect clients abroad,\u201d said Campi\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
In the second part, the Sebrae should present how businessmen may establish their own plan for internationalisation and how the organisation may help in this process.<\/p>\n
The last part will be a talk by the Italian N\u00edcola Minervinni, a specialist in international marketing. According to Campi\u00e3o, he should speak about export consortiums, that is, companies that join forces to prospect and sell on the international market. Speakers should present their successful experiences in Europe and Latin America.<\/p>\n
The event and admittance are free, but limited to 200 spots. Micro and small industrial and trade companies will have priority.<\/p>\n
