S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The Arab-European Economic Forum should discuss relations between both regions on September 12th and 13th in Beirut, Lebanon. The event should take place at the offices of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, which is organising the forum in partnership with the European investment Bank and the European Commission.<\/p>\n
Michel Alaby, CEO at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/b>, and Riad Younes, a director at the organisation, should participate in the event.<\/p>\n
Among the themes that the forum should debate are the perspectives of economic relations between Europe and the Arab countries, possible partnerships between the regions in the sector of infrastructure, clean energy, education, health and others, as well as the part played by the Arab funds and the European Investment Bank for recovery and reconstruction of infrastructure in Arab countries in need.<\/p>\n
The event should include five panels, in which there should be representatives of chambers of commerce, development funds and similar institutions, both in Europe and in the Arab countries.<\/p>\n
During the Forum also presented should be projects in Arab countries that require regional and European financing. There should also be bilateral meetings between heads of European and Arab banks, funds and private companies.<\/p>\n
