The number of passengers transported per kilometre was up 7.86% last month from July 2011. Available seat-kilometres were up 2.06%. These were the highest supply and demand levels recorded by the Anac ever since the historical series was initiated, in 2000.<\/p>\n<p> According to the Anac, from January to July, the number of passengers per kilometre was up 7.39% from the same period of 2011. From January to July, available seat-kilometres were up 7.47%. <\/p>\n<p> Domestic flight occupancy was also up and reached an all-time high. According to the Anac, in July 2012, the average occupancy rate was 79.45%. In July 2011, the rate was 75.18%. From January to July this year, occupancy rates averaged at 71.41%, nearly unchanged from 71.47% from January to July 2011.<\/p>\n<p> With regard to international transport, however, the demand in July 2012 was down 2.33% from July 2011.
