A total of 2,522,535 bags were shipped, down 13.6% using the same basis of comparison.<\/p>\n<p> In July and August, the first two months of the 2012-2013 crop, exports reached US$ 951.2 million, down 28.6% from the same period of 2011. Sales amounted to 4,644,824 bags, down 6.8% from July and August, 2011. <\/p>\n<p> According to a press statement, the Cecaf\u00e9 director general Guilherme Braga has said that exports in 2012 should range from 28 million to 29 million bags, lower than the previously forecasted 33 million bags.
