Foreign sales reached US$ 4,445 billion from September 1st to 9th, at a daily average of US$ 1.111 billion. The figure is up 14.2% from August this year, when the daily average was US$ 973.1 million, and up 0.2% from September 2011, when the daily average was US$ 1.108 billion.<\/p>\n<p> Foreign sales were up from August 2012 across all product categories. Manufactured goods exports were up 17.6%, basic goods exports were up 15.5% and semi-manufactured goods exports were up 2.1%. <\/p>\n<p> In the first week of September, imports reached US$ 3.417 billion, at a daily average of US$ 854.3 million. The figure is down 11.2% from September 2011, but up 2.6% from the average in August 2012.<\/p>\n<p> Year-to-date, exports reached US$ 165.043 billion, at a daily average of US$ 948.5 million.
