S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Jordanian company Bloom wants to export its Dead Sea mud-based cosmetics to Brazil. The company makes 162 body and hair products and already sells to 42 different countries.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur products are particularly rich in magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium and bromide chlorides, and several others,\u201d says chemical engineer and company owner Elham Ziadat. \u201cThe unique combination of Dead Sea brine, salts and minerals was formed long ago thanks to organic materials,\u201d she explains. <\/p>\n
Bloom already sells to the United States, United Arab Emirates, Austria, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Italy, Belgium and other countries. Now, the company wants a partner in order to start selling in Brazil. \u201cWe are looking for a good distributor. We will provide promotional material and training to the personnel,\u201d she says. <\/p>\n
\u201cI believe Brazil is an excellent market, especially for our products, which boast unparalleled quality,\u201d says Ziadat. Bloom\u2019s products are divided into five lines: retail, hotels, spas, gift kits, and one-time use kits.<\/p>\n
The company manufactures 20,000 units of each product per month and exports 90% of its output. According to Ziadat, aside from Brazil, the enterprise is also looking to enter other South American markets such as Argentina and Chile.<\/p>\n
In Jordan, Bloom cosmetics are sold in ten own stores and 62 outlets. The company is also going to build a well-being centre at the Queen Alia International Airport, in the south of Amman. <\/p>\n
