The funds will be supplied by by the International Development Association (IDA), the bank\u2019s poverty-fighting arm. <\/p>\n<p> The agreement provides that 70% of the funds will be used by the Djibouti authorities to ensure short-term jobs in small communities. Another 30% will be allocated to improving food distribution, particularly for children, lactating and pregnant women.<\/p>\n<p> According to a press statement released by the World Bank, Djibouti was one of the hardest-hit countries by the 2011 Horn of Africa drought.
