They are in Brazil by invitation of the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex).<\/p>\n<p> <!--%IMGNOT1%-->Alaby discussed Brazilian exports, foreign investment in the country, and the Chamber\u2019s work in promoting economic relations with Arab countries. <\/p>\n<p> He said, for instance, that the Chamber intends to establish a Brazil-Kuwait Business Council and eventually organize a trade mission to the Middle Eastern country. The Arab Brazilian Chamber already has a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to encourage cooperation actions. <\/p>\n<p> The Apex usually invites foreign journalists to Brazil as a means to promote the country overseas, especially with regard to business opportunities. The Kuwaitis have already spoken to poultry and beef industry representatives, Halal slaughter certifier organizations (which slaughter in accordance with Islamic law), and paid a visit to the Embraer plant, in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p> The journalists were accompanied by the Apex\u2019s CEO for the Middle East, Sidney Costa.
