Exports had increased in October. <\/p>\n<p> Last month, footwear exports generated US$ 82.9 million in revenues and stood at 9.7 million pairs. The volume shipped remained stable. Compared with October, when the industry exported the equivalent of US$ 110 million, export revenues were down 24.8%.<\/p>\n<p> From January to November, exports amounted to US$ 994.7 million, down 15.4% from the same period in 2011. In terms of shoe pairs shipped, the year-to-date result is virtually the same as in 2011: 101.71 million as against 101.74 million.
