The output was 7.74% higher than in 2011. The figures were released this Thursday (10th) by the Sugarcane Industry Union (Unica).<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe combined milling volume thus far is practically the final number for the Mid-South crop, for slightly over ten processing facilities continued operating after January 1st, 2013, with a marginal output compared with the total output from the region,\u201d said the Unica technical director Antonio de P\u00e1dua Rodrigues.<\/p>\n<p> Ethanol production since the beginning of the crop amounted to 21.28 billion litres, up 3.58% from the preceding crop.
