S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The ambassador of Brazil to Sudan, Ant\u00f4nio Carlos do Nascimento Pedro, met on Tuesday (15) with representatives of Brazilian companies participating in Khartoum International Fair, which began on Monday (14), in the country capital. At the meeting, Petro pointed out the main demands of the Sudanese and also where the main business opportunities may be found. Participation of Brazilian companies in the fair is organized by the embassy and by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/b>.<\/p>\n
At the meeting, Pedro said there are many business opportunities in Sudan. One of the sectors in which there is greatest demand for products is civil construction. The Sudanese need flooring, wall tiles, PVC pipes, finishing products and electric and hydraulic equipment. They also need pumps and water filters, generators and even tyres. The information was disclosed by Arab Brazilian Chamber business executive Simone Rojas, who is participating.<\/p>\n
The inhabitants of Sudan also offer demand for cosmetics. They need shampoo, lipstick and nail varnish. These products are currently imported from Chinese producers, but the quality is not good. The Chinese also export clothes to Sudan, though they are products made out of polyester, which is too warm. Shoes and garments, especially cotton, may sell well in the country.<\/p>\n
Apart from the meeting with the ambassador, the companies should meet with a bank and local companies in coming days, as well as exporting their products at the fair, which ends on Monday (21). The meetings should include companies Montex\/Keyframe, Borrachas NSO, Andrade Gutierrez, Fanem, Ind\u00fastrias Colombo and CTC.<\/p>\n
