The report was disclosed during a meeting of specialists from the region, last week, in Rabat, Morocco. Exploration of iron and gold mines should have important participation in the performance of the economy in 2013, says the document.<\/p>\n<p> In 2012, the country suffered the consequences of the strong drought of 2011 and of the global recession. The recovery of agriculture and the growth of construction, however, helped Mauritania remain stable and grow, despite the problems. The rate of growth in 2012 was 6.2%.
