According to information disclosed by the Brazilian Poultry Union (Ubabef), revenues obtained with these sales grew 15.9% to US$ 626.7 million. <\/p>\n<p> According to a press statement disclosed by the Ubabef on Wednesday (06), the behaviour of exports in 2013 is showing itself atypical as against other years, as the results in the first months show a tendency for the rest of the year. In 2013, the total volume shipped is 582,000 tonnes, a reduction of 4.7% over 2012. Revenues, in turn, recorded growth of 3.8%, totalling US$ 1.2 billion. Exports are lower than in 2012 as there was an 11.6% reduction in sales in January.<\/p>\n<p> The president at Ubabef, Francisco Turra, said in a press statement that \u201cthere is no stability\u201d in exports but \u201cstrong oscillation\u201d as against 2012.
