They also established a consultancy company to elaborate a juvenile law, according to information disclosed on the United Nations (UN) site. The idea is to grant the Arab country a system following international standards and providing adequate protection for children and adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Children in contact with the law must receive different treatment from adults within the process, ranging from the initial contact, detaining and liberation,&rdquo; said the UNICEF director in Libya, Carel de Rooy, in a press statement. The training began on April 7th with workshop on &ldquo;Realising the greatest interests of children through judicial decisions&rdquo;, for judges.
