These are some of the characteristics of the generation &quot;Y,&quot; youths born in the 1980s and that today are starting to stand out in the job market. How to deal with these features is the topic of the lecture &quot;Learn to deal with the generation &#8216;Y&#8217;&quot; to be presented by Eline Kullock, an expert in Human Resources and a businesswoman, next Tuesday (4) at the <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>. Registration is still open.<\/p>\n<p>Kullock will present the main differences between generation &quot;Y&quot; and the older generations, as well as showing the historic differences between them and how professionals of different ages and from different times can adapt to the daily work so that there is more understanding between them.<\/p>\n<p>Kullock, who is the president of Human Resources consultancy Foco Group, notes that these youths entered the labour market at a time when the Brazilian economy has become more stable and with almost full employment. This condition, said the expert, grants professionals self-esteem to seek faster professional growth without attachment to the company for which they work. Kullock states that generation &quot;Y&quot; professionals spend on average two years in a company.<\/p>\n<p>The expert also warns that this generation has been raised with more freedom than previous generations, and with greater access to technology, which has made it more prone to contest. Other features of this generation, says Kullock, is &quot;having excellent decision making capacity and a low resistance to frustration.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>In the talk to be given at the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Kullock will cover the behaviour and profile of generation &quot;Y&quot;, tips for businesses to prepare for the &quot;clash of cultures&quot; and she will also present the results of a survey that Foco Group promoted with over 25,000 youths in Brazil. Kullock&#8217;s presentation is part of the talk cycle that the Arab Brazilian Chamber is promoting this year.
