May-on-April, sales were up 1.6%. Year-to-date, sales were up 4.4%, a rate that should be in keeping with the average expected for the remainder of the year: 4.5%.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The industry&rsquo;s performance this month is the third consecutive month-on-month increase, after a decline was recorded in February,&rdquo; explains Abramat chairman Walter Cover.
