The company already flies cargo aircraft to the city three times a week, and also flies cargo in the holds of the passenger aircraft flying from the Guarulhos and Rio de Janeiro airports, all in southeastern Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press statement disclosed by Emirates, the aircraft operated will be the Boeing 777F, with a 3.7 metre wide deck. This new flight will expand the Emirates SkyCargo capacity by 412 tonnes a month.<\/p>\n<p>Emirates SkyCargo started flying to Brazil in October 2010. The flights leave Viracopos on Mondays and Wednesdays, at 8:35 pm and on Saturdays, at 10:05 pm. The new flight will be operated on Tuesdays, leaving at 10:15 pm. The flights should have stops in Dakar, Senegal, and in Frankfurt, Germany, before arriving in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from these four weekly cargo flights, the company uses the holds of the passenger aircraft that fly daily between S&atilde;o Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Together, the Boeing 777-300ER and 777-200LR can hold up to 160 tonnes of cargo a week.<\/p>\n<p>The company has ten cargo aircraft.
