The company is a distributor in the region and already buys Brazilian products, according to information disclosed by the Brazilian Cocoa and Confectionery Manufacturers Association (Abicab). The organisation is bringing the importer from the Emirates, together with businessmen from the United States and Peru, as part of the Buyer Project.<\/p>\n<p>The foreigners should arrive in the city of S&atilde;o Paulo, where they should participate in business roundtables with 11 companies in the sector on Monday (5). They should also visit companies and visit the FISA Show, a food sector fair that begins on the 6th, in S&atilde;o Paulo. On the same day, they should fly to Fortaleza, Cear&aacute;, to participate in fair Sweet Brasil International Expo, to take place as part of the 33rd Annual Convention of Wholesale Distributors, promoted by the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors (Abad).<\/p>\n<p>At the fair in the Northeast, the foreign visitors will participate in roundtables with nine companies in the sector, will visit companies and go on a historic city tour. &ldquo;The target is for the businessmen to learn not only about the quality but also about the Brazil-ness of our products, and also to live a little of the Brazilian culture,&rdquo; said Get&uacute;lio Ursulino Netto, Abicab president, in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Abad convention should take place from August 5th to 8th, at the Cear&aacute; Event Centre, and should bring together over 30,000 visitors, among them businessmen and executives in industry, wholesale, distributors and retailers. According to Abicab, the Northeast has been the focus of sweet industries. Docile and Dori, for example, have distribution centres in the region. Mondelez and Arcor have factories in Pernambuco state. Cacau Show has over 160 shops in the Northeast and aims to increase the figure.<\/p>\n<p>The companies present in Fortaleza will be Docile, Dori, Florestal, General Brands, Maval&eacute;rio, Simas, Boavistense, Top Cau and Yoki. They are in the sectors of chocolate, peanut and sweets and should present their novelties at the fair. They are part of the Sweet Brasil project, a brand for promotion of sector exports that is promoted in collaboration with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex).
