The forecast is R$ 275.89 billion (US$ 120 billion), with growth of 10.8% over last year.<\/p>\n<p>In the previous study, disclosed in July, the expectation had been for R$ 272.2 billion (US$ 118 billion), with growth of 9.4% over 2012.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Ministry, a significant part of the crops studied, the main ones in Brazil, presented growth in value this year, combining value and volume produced.<\/p>\n<p>Soy and maize are highlights, answering to 43% of the Gross Value. Other cultures with chances for growth are orange, sugarcane, potatoes, tobacco, tomatoes, wheat, rice, bananas and beans.<\/p>\n<p>In the Northeast, Southeast and South of the country, forecasts are 6.7%, 19.8% and 25.9%, respectively.
