The tender to select the railway line&rsquo;s equipment supplier and operator was scheduled for next Friday (16th). According to the minister of Transports Cesar Borges, the tender auction will not take place for at least a year. <\/p>\n<p>The government has however pledged to follow through with contracts for executive projects concerning the high-speed train line. There were fears that the tender would attract no interested parties, or only one group. Some companies from Spain and Germany have requested the postponement.
