The rate is higher than quarter one&rsquo;s 0.6% growth in relation to quarter four, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Turkey was the G20 country whose economy grew the most in quarter two, at 2.1%, followed by China (1.7%) and Brazil (1.5%). Most of the bloc&rsquo;s economies have grown, except for Canada, Japan and Mexico, whose performances declined in quarter two from quarter one.<\/p>\n<p><!--[{![cemb_9_685022_1]!}]--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;The only countries whose economies slowed down during the period were Italy (-0.3%) and Mexico (-0.7%). Italy&rsquo;s economy, however, posted a lower negative rate in quarter two than the rate recorded in quarter one, which was -0.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Other highlights were the growth rates of the United States (0.6%) and United Kingdom (0.7%) &ndash; both had grown by merely 0.3% in quarter one &ndash;, as well as those of Germany (0.7%) and South Korea (1.1%). France grew by 0.5%, after having posted a 0.2% decline in quarter one. India&rsquo;s economy was up 0.6%, South Africa&rsquo;s was up 0.8%, and Indonesia&rsquo;s was up 1.4%.<\/p>\n<p>Q2-on-Q2, the G20 GDP has increased by 2.6%, and Q1-on-Q1 it was up 2.2%.
