In May from April, the IBC-Br was down 1.48%. May-on-May, the index was up 3.38% (non-seasonalized). Year-to-date, the IBC-Br was up 2.97%, and in the 12-month period ended July, it was up 2.11%. <\/p>\n<p>The IBC-Br tracks the evolution of Brazilian economic activity.
