She visited teaching institutions which carry out projects aimed at improving the quality of basic education. <\/p>\n<p>At school Francisco Paulo Brito, Mozah visited classrooms, the library, the computer room, and met with teachers. According to the QNA, this unit is affiliated with the &ldquo;Escolas do Amanh&atilde;&rdquo; (Schools of Tomorrow) project, created by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall with backing from Mozah&rsquo;s own Educate a Child (EAC) project. According to the QNA, Mozah spoke with the school&rsquo;s director about how the EAC project is helping students at this school. The EAC project is designed to help put schoolless children around the world in schools.<\/p>\n<p>Mozah also visited school Andr&eacute; Urani to witness the Gin&aacute;sio Experimental das Novas Tecnologias Educacionais (Gente &ndash; Experimental High School for New Education Technologies) project, designed to innovate schools, from their very architecture to the teachers&rsquo; training and the subjects taught. The project is developed by the Municipal Secretariat for Education of Rio de Janeiro in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco).<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It is truly inspiring to see the determination of these children to learn, and of their teachers and communities to provide them with quality primary schooling in Rocinha,&rdquo; said Mozah, the wife of Qatar&rsquo;s former emir, Hamad Bin Khalifa al Thani. The emir stepped down this year and handed over the power to one of his sons, Tamim bin Hamad al Thani.<\/p>\n<p>According to information from the website of <em>Vogue Brazil <\/em>magazine, Mozah arrived in Brazil last Friday (13th). On Sunday (15th), she visited the Maracan&atilde; stadium in Rio.
