São Paulo – The news report “More ethanol on the streets,” written by the journalist Isaura Daniel and published on the website of the Brazil-Arab News Agency (ANBA, in the Portuguese acronym) is a finalist for the CNT Journalism Prize. The award is granted by the National Confederation of Transport to works focusing on transportation published by various media categories. This is the Prize’s 20th edition.<\/p>\n
The ANBA report tackles the increased usage of ethanol as a fuel to vehicles other than automobiles, like motorcycles, trucks, and buses, and the ensuing reduction in pollutants emission. The report is a finalist alongside other three: “Cidades Possíveis” (Possible Cities) and “Mobilidade na palma da mão” (Mobility in the palm of your hand), both by the Diário de Pernambuco <\/em> website, and “Imobilidade do Trabalhador” (Worker Immobility), by JCOnline, also based in Pernambuco.<\/p>\n The finalists will be announced in the first half of November. The prize’s categories include Print Media, Photography, Television and Radio. A special award will be granted in the Environment category.
