The prior record had been 326,000 barrels per day, on June 22. The daily average output in September was 326,800 bpd, including production by Petrobras and its partner companies, at fields like Lula and Sapinho&aacute;, in the Santos Basin.<\/p>\n<p>Total output by Petrobras in September, including post-salt layer fields, stood at 1.98 million bpd, up 3.7% from August. The increased output resulted from the entry into operation of new wells at FPSO rigs Cidade de Itaja&iacute;, on the Santos Basin; P-53 and P-54, on the Campos Basin; and FPSO Piranema, on the Sergipe Basin.<\/p>\n<p>Including natural gas production at national fields, output averaged at 2.37 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), up 3.2% from August.
