The Central Bank&rsquo;s Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br), seasonally adjusted, was up 0.77% in October from September. <\/p>\n<p>It is the highest rate since 1.38% in April from March this year, as per revised figures. In September from August, activity had remained virtually level, and was up 0.01%.<\/p>\n<p>October-on-October, activity was up 3.82% (unadjusted). The IBC-Br was up 2.81% year-to-date and up 2.44% in the 12-month period ended October. <\/p>\n<p>The IBC-Br is a means for assessing the evolution of Brazilian economic activity.
