During the Jos&eacute; Alencar inaugural voyage ceremony, this Tuesday (14), Transpetro president, Sergio Machado, authorized the construction of another eight ships at the Estaleiro Mau&aacute; shipyard, in the city of Niter&oacute;i, near Rio de Janeiro. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Brazilian naval industry is living a new moment. It is no longer just a dream, it is now consolidated. The great issues now are management, quality, so that productivity is greater and better, in search of international competitiveness. That is what we are working for,&rdquo; said S&eacute;rgio Machado.<\/p>\n<p>In it&rsquo;s first journey, Jos&eacute; Alencar left the Estaleiro Mau&aacute; to be loaded with naphtha at the Ilha D&rsquo;&Aacute;gua Terminal, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. From there it follows towards S&atilde;o Paulo.
