Foreign sales were up 5.6% January-on-January to US$ 1.533 billion, and accounted for 9.57% of total exports from the country. <\/p>\n<p>In absolute terms, the Southeast was the leading exporting region. Exports from the Southeast fetched US$ 9 billion, up 4.9% from January 2013 and accounting for 56.3% of the national total.
