According to the bank, the money will be used in the construction of a soft and hardwood pulp plant in Ortigueira, Paran&aacute;, with production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes a year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the bank, the loan corresponds to 43.6% of the total of US$ 3.2 billion invested. BNDES also said it is negotiating an additional US$ 330 million instalment. The project includes the construction of a warehouse in Porto de Paranagu&aacute; to stock up to 80,000 tonnes of pulp.<\/p>\n<p>The state development company pointed out the plant will create 1,400 job opportunities when it starts working in 2016.
