The Economic Activity Index of the Brazilian Central Bank (IBC-Br, in the Portuguese acronym) non-seasonal (adjusted for the period) showed an expansion of 0.24% in February, compared to the previous month. In a comparison between January and December, the growth was at 2.35%, according to the revised data released this Wednesday (16th).<\/p>\n<p>When compared to February 2013, the growth was at 4.04%, according to the non-adjusted data, as the comparison is between similar periods. In the 12 month period finished in February, the expansion was at 2.57%. In the first two months, the growth was at 2.46%.<\/p>\n<p>The IBC-Br is a tool to evaluate the Brazilian economic evolution.
