From the total, 43% are from the private initiative. The 27 projects do not include completed construction works. The data were presented by the federal, state and municipal governments this Wednesday afternoon (16th), in Rio. The works are a part of infrastructure and public policies in the areas of mobility, environment, urbanization and sport facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The projects that will be carried out exclusively because of the Olympic Games amount to around R$ 5.6 billion (US$2.5 billion), with R$ 4.18 billion (US$1.87 billion) from the private initiative. Governor Luiz Fernando Pez&atilde;o, minister for Sports Aldo Rebelo and mayor Eduardo Paes spoke about the projects.
