Exports from Brazil to the region amounted to US$ 837 million in April last year, as against US$ 767 million in April 2014. Daily average exports, however, were up slightly by 0.8%. The Middle East comprises Arab countries, such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, and non-Arab ones, like Iran and Turkey. <\/p>\n<p>Africa, another region where Arab countries are located, has also reduced its purchases of Brazilian products in April. Revenues from sales to the region stood at US$ 847 million in April last year, and at US$ 709 million in April this year. In this case, the daily average also declined, by 7.9%. <\/p>\n<p>Revenues from Brazil&rsquo;s overall exports to the world also declined, from US$ 20.6 billion in April 2013 to US$ 19.7 billion in April this year. Based on daily average figures, however, exports were up 5.3%.
