The projection was presented this Wednesday (16th) by the Brazilian Association of Motorcycle, Autocycle, Scooter and Bicycle Manufacturers (Abraciclo), which had, in the beginning of the year, forecasted stability. As regards exports, they closed the first semester with a hike of 1.6%, with 45,400 units. From May to June, however, foreign sales declined by 31.5%. According to data from the Abraciclo, business was affected by World Cup matches. Abraciclo’s chairman, Marcos Fermanian, said through a communiqué that the sector will try to make a rebound in the second semester. “At the second semester, the sector will focus in the need for a recovery of sales volume and adjustment in stocks.”<\/p>\n
