In June from May, the index was down 1.4%. June-on-June, the index was down 6.9%, according to the Monthly Industrial Survey released this Friday (1st) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).<\/p>\n<p> The survey shows that production decreased in the four main industry categories in June from May. The decline in durable consumer goods output&nbsp;was 24.9%. Capital goods production was down 9.7%; semi- and non-durable consumer goods were down 1.3% and intermediate goods were down 0.1%.
