The first six months end in October. During this period, the group&rsquo;s net profit was up 1% from the comparable year-ago period, to US$ 607 million.<\/p>\n<p>Standalone revenues for Emirates Airline stood at US$ 12 billion, up 11% from the first half of the last fiscal year, as a consequence of increased passenger and freight demand.
