The seal will follow the guidelines of Selo Procel para Equipamentos e Eletrodom&eacute;sticos, for equipment and appliances, launched 20 years ago. &ldquo;In the wake of this success, we are releasing Selo Procel Edifica&ccedil;&otilde;es, which follows the same logic of awarding the best in its category,&rdquo; the manager of Eletrobras&rsquo; Energy Efficiency Projects Department, Fernando Perrone, has told <em>Ag&ecirc;ncia Brasil<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>To get the seal, entrepreneurs and builders must submit a project or building to an inspection organization. Three separate systems will be reviewed, including facades and roofs; lighting; and air conditioning. Selo Procel Edifica&ccedil;&otilde;es will be awarded to class A buildings &ndash; the highest energy efficiency rating, in each of the three systems.
