The event is held by Instituto Brasil &Aacute;frica, with backing from the <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce <\/strong>and the Federation of Industries of the State of S&atilde;o Paulo (Fiesp). Registrations already open. <\/p>\n<p>During the seminar, specialists from Brazil and North African countries will discuss issues such as the role of Brazilian producers in the region, agricultural demand, international partnerships, infrastructure investments, enhancing productivity, fostering exports and financing alternatives, among other topics. <\/p>\n<p>To Jo&atilde;o Bosco Monte, the chairman of Instituto Brasil &Aacute;frica, the event is an opportunity to introduce Brazilian executives to the specificities of different North African countries. &ldquo;There is a lot of disinformation regarding Arab countries. Our first challenge is to show the Brazilian community what they can find in the African continent,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Monte claims that despite the favourable climate, there are no major agribusiness projects underway in North Africa. &ldquo;There is a lot of land, water in abundance and a population which consumes. If you grow grain and food here [in Brazil], then why not grow it in North Africa,&rdquo; he inquires. <\/p>\n<p>The seminar will feature major food industry players such as Agr&iacute;cola Famosa, Crealpar and BRF.
