The information is from the Monthly Survey of Industry &#8211; Physical Production &#8211; Brazil (PIM-PF), released this Thursday (08) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). <\/p>\n<p>The decline attests to the stagnation of industry, which had grown by 0.1% in October following a 0.3% reduction in September. In November, production dropped for 11 of 24 sectors surveyed, and three out of four major categories. <\/p>\n<p>Year-on-year in November, output declined by an even higher rate (-5.8%). It was the ninth straight reduction and the sharpest since June 2013 (-6.9%).<\/p>\n<p>In the 12 months leading up to November 2014, industrial production was down 3.2% in keeping with the downward trend seen since March 2014 (2%).
