The report is the result of a weekly survey that the Central Bank does with financial institutions to reveal their estimative for Brazil&rsquo;s economy.<\/p>\n<p>According to the bulletin, inflation should end 2015 with a 6.67% increase. In the first week of the year, the forecast called for a 6.56% end-of-the-year inflation. Last week, estimation pointed out to a 6.6% inflation by the end of 2015. These results indicate that the financial sector expects the inflation rate to go over the target rate&rsquo;s ceiling established by the Central Bank at 4.5%, with a two point percent variation up or down. <\/p>\n<p>According to the results of the Central Bank&rsquo;s survey released by <em>Ag&ecirc;ncia Brasil<\/em>, the institutions polled also indicated, for the third straight time, the expectation that the economy will grow less than previously imagined. The expectation is for the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to go up 0.38% this year. <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the estimation for the Selic, the benchmark interest rate, stood still. According to the bulletin, 2015 should end with a 12.5% interest rate.
