According to the balance of the time period released Thursday (19th) night by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, S&atilde;o Paulo, Paran&aacute;, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais and Rio Grande do Sul were the five major exporters. In total, agribusiness exports grossed 5.64 billion in January. <\/p>\n<p>S&atilde;o Paulo was the top exporter. The sales reached US$ 1.31 billion and sugar was the main product sold. Shipments from Paran&aacute; stood at US$ 698.2 million led by poultry. Mato Grosso exported US$ 672.6 million, led by cereals. Minas Gerais exported US$ 611.7 million, with 62.4% of the total as coffee sales.
