He was inaugurated during a meeting of the Advisory Board, which will be chaired by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Armando Monteiro Neto.<\/p>\n<p>Barioni is a business administrator, and respectively former vice chairman and chairman of airlines Gol Linhas A&eacute;reas and TAM Linhas A&eacute;reas, besides being a member of the boards of directors of enterprises and teaching institutions. In a statement issued by Apex-Brasil, minister Monteiro said the agency has brought in someone with a private sector background, &ldquo;with a vision and a grasp of what Brazil&rsquo;s global insertion represents, of circumstances outside the country, and of how trade flows operate around the world.&rdquo; <br \/>Barioni said his administration will focus on efficiency and expansion. He also stressed that priority will be assigned to the United States, South America, Asia and Africa.
