The event is held by the Arab Women Investors Union and the Businesswomen Association for Development, with backing from organizations such as the League of Arab States and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), among others.<\/p>\n<p>The conference&rsquo;s goals include supporting the execution of economic projects in the country, which will be presented at the Egypt Economic Development Conference, slated for the 13th to the 15th of this month in Sharm El-Sheikh.<\/p>\n<p>The April conference will also address partnerships with other countries, especially in technology and knowledge transfer in areas like education, manufacturing, tourism and cooperation. The event will also highlight the importance of Arab-African collaboration, particularly in the utilization of natural resources. <\/p>\n<p>According to information from the event&rsquo;s organizers, the conference will address 15 different topics, including the empowerment of women as a tool for development; investment in different types of tourism, such as medical, cultural and religious; investment in clean and renewable energy projects; and investment in agriculture to ensure food security. <\/p>\n<p>The conference opens on the 14th at the headquarters of the League of Arab States, in Cairo.
