In a comparison with the same month of last year, the drop was higher: 1.34%. The percentage figures, released this Monday (16th) by the Brazilian Central Bank (BC), are seasonally adjusted. This means they account for the effects that different seasons of a year have over the economy. <\/p>\n<p>Considering a 12-month cumulative period, there was a decline of 0.39%. The IBC-Br is an index to evaluate the evolution of the Brazilian economic activity.
