The exhibition already visited other cities in the world and will be inaugurated in the capital federal by the commissioner-general of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (Unrwa), Pierre Kr&auml;henb&uuml;hl, who will be making his first visit to Brazil. The Switzerland native took up the post in April. <\/p>\n<p>The exhibition features 40 pictures and five short-films to portray the history of Palestinian refugees in the Middle East. Historical images and footage from Unrwa&rsquo;s archives will be presented. The exhibition also shows the works of Unrwa in the five places where it operates: Gaza, West Bank, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. <\/p>\n<p>According to the materials released by the United Nations (UN), in the exhibition,&nbsp;the audience will witness of one of the longest cases of forced migration in modern history, of violation of human rights and of challenges faced by the refugees in Palestine. <\/p>\n<p>The exhibition already visited Rome, Jerusalem, New York and Morocco. In Latin America, it opened only in the city of S&atilde;o Paulo, where it stayed between January and mid-March. The Brazilian version of the show was produced by the local architecture and design office Atelier Marko Brajovic. <\/p>\n<p>Unrwa&rsquo;s commissioner-general will be in Bras&iacute;lia on May 6th and 7th, when he will attend a series of meetings and official activities, besides inaugurating the exhibition.
