São Paulo – Brazilian pharmaceuticals, animal healthcare products, pharmaceutical inputs and biotechnology products will receive a boost this year to enter markets abroad. On Friday (3rd), the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Pharma-Chemical and Pharmaceutical Inputs Industry Association (Abiquifi) signed an extension of the sectorial project Brazilian Pharma Solutions. <\/p>\n
The companies that become members have services on the areas of business intelligence, international marketing, actions on training programs, purchasing projects, trade missions and participation in international fairs in priority markets, which have higher potential of buying the products offered by these companies. In 2014 only, according to data released by Apex-Brasil, the companies that took part in the project exported US$ 341 million, or 18.9% of the total shipped by the sector. <\/p>\n
According to information by Apex-Brasil, this new phase of the project will separate the participating companies into Pharmaceuticals, Pharma-Chemical, Biotechnology and Animal Health groups and also by time exporting. Some of the members of the Brazilian Pharma Solutions are large multinationals.<\/p>\n
Other agreements<\/strong><\/p>\n Besides this agreement, the extensions of sectorial projects of other five institutions were signed this Friday: Brazilian Machinery and Equipment Association (Abimaq); Development Promotion Institute (IPD), with the promotion project of organic products; Brazilian Association of Biscuit, Pasta and Industrial Bread and Cake Industry (Abimapi); Brazilian Association of Zebu Breeders (ABCZ); and Brazilian Association of Contemporary Art (ABACT). Together, these projects exported US$ 2.3 billion in 2014.
