According to the seasonally adjusted Brazilian Central Bank&rsquo;s Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br), there was growth of 0.03%. The stability came after two consecutive months of contraction. Revised data shows that in April from March, activity was down 0.88%. In March from February, it was down 1.53%.<\/p>\n<p>In May from May of last year, activity was down 4.75% based on non-adjusted data &ndash; since the periods are equivalent. Economic activity was down 1.72% in the 12 months ended May and down 2.78% year-to-date through May.
