In August from July, exports increased by 9%. As per numbers released this Friday (4th) Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Motorcycles, Mopeds, Scooters, Bicycles and Similar Products (Abraciclo), year-to-date through August, 36,162 units were exported, down 42.1% from a year ago. <\/p>\n<p>Abraciclo also reported that 1.038 million motorcycles were made by the end of August this year, down 11.9% from a year ago. In August alone, 101,900 units were made, down 15.7% from August 2014.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Abraciclo&rsquo;s chairman Marcos Fermanian said that habitually, the second half is better than the first for the industry.
