Around 10:50 AM, the dollar price reached R$ 4, after closing yesterday at R$ 3.99. Earlier, the dollar was sold at R$ 3.89. <\/p>\n<p>With the price increasing, BC announced a second auction of foreign exchange swap contracts (sale of dollars in the future market). A rollover auction (renewing of foreign exchange swaps) and an auction of dollar-repurchase agreements were also held by the BC.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, the currency was traded at R$ 4.248, the highest price of the day, around 10:30 AM.
