This Tuesday (6th), the National Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea) reported that in September, 174,200 units were made, down from 216,600 in August. September numbers were down 42.1% from 300,800 vehicles in September 2014. <\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date through September, 1.9 million vehicles were made in Brazil, down from 2.38 million in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Sales were down 3.5%, from 207,300 vehicles in August to 200,100 last month.<\/p>\n<p>In comparison to September 2014, when 296,300 unities were sold, the decline reaches 32.5%. From January to September, 1.95 million vehicles were sold, 22.7% less than the 2.52 million sold in the same period of 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Employment levels remained practically stable in September over August. There was a decline of 0.6%. Last month, 133,600 people were employed by the auto industry, against 134,300 in the previous month.
