The estimation for the retraction of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) this year went from 2.85% to 2.97%, the 13th straight time the forecast is revised down. For the next year, the estimation went from 1% to 1.2%. These estimations are part of the <em>Focus<\/em> survey done by the Brazilian Central Bank (BC) and released this Tuesday (13th).<\/p>\n<p>In the financial market&rsquo;s assessment, the industrial production should have a drop of 7% this year, against the 6.5% of the previous estimation. For 2016, the forecast for a retraction went from 0.29% to 1%. The estimation for the price of the dollar at the end of the year remains at R$ 4. For the end of 2016, the forecast for the price of the North American currency went from R$ 4 to R$ 4.15.<\/p>\n<p>The forecast made by the financial market for the Extended National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) went up for the fourth straight time, from 9.53% to 9.7% this year.
